The Continued fight against Amnesty and Illegal Immigration

Over the past few weeks, I have not said too much on here with regards to the Amnesty bill being pushed by our President and Congress. I’ve been quite vocal about it away from my bloggs with people I talk to and the letters and emails I’ve sent to my Senators and Congressman. I am quite disgusted with the fact that the political elite in Washington just seem to think they can pass any kind of legislation they want and the American people won’t do a thing a about it. It was quite proud a few weeks back when the huge grassroots uproar basically killed their first attempt to pass the sickening piece of legislation.

I don’t understand just what is going through the minds of the President and Congress when it comes to this issue. There is a large Mexican invasion going on, pushed by the corrupt Mexican government. These people are coming across our border daily no body is there to stop them. Our government for some reason is so afraid of offending Mexico, that these illegal criminal aliens are given the same tax payer funded welfare benefits that are provided to any other American citizen. Welfare is a whole other issue for me to get into, but when have people that have broken our laws to come here, why in the hell should my tax dollars give those people a damn thing. I don’t give a damn how hard working any of these people are. They break our laws and they don’t deserve anything from here.

Now with this Amnesty bill, these millions of criminals will be eligible to gain legal status and remain here in this country. That is a complete slap in the face to millions of people that have immigrated to this country legally in search of the American dream. These are people that sat on waiting lists and did what was required in order to get here legally and attain citizenship. Oh and another thing, those people also took the time to learn ENGLISH. Immigrants are a big part of this country. Without it, I would not be here annoying you all with my opinions. As far as illegals are concerned, they don’t deserve to be here and we sure as hell don’t want them here.

Another vital thing this bill fails to do is to seal up our borders. There is a continuous flood of illegal aliens coming across our border and the first thing that needs to be done is stop the flood of continuing. Our federal government needs to do their job and shut down our border with Mexico. They need to beef up border patrol big time and Border States need to help out with their National Guard Forces. I’ve heard arguments of that being like the Berlin Wall. Sorry, but that is completely different. In Berlin, we had Communists sealing off a portion of city within a country. Here we are trying to protect our sovereignty and secure our nation.

We are in the midst of a Global War on Islamic Fascism. Once again, I don’t understand why the President is trying so hard to appease the Mexican government here. He has done a great with pursing our enemy, but one area he just seems to not think is vital is our own border security and I don’t get it. We saw the threat that illegal aliens can pose with the planned assault on Fort Dix. Despite that, our President just does not seem to get it when it comes to our border security and it is getting really frustrating. I hope his successor (Hopefully Newt Gingrich or Fred Thompson) will do what he as failed to do and secure our borders.

I don’t know what else to say here. Our government has failed us big time when it comes to illegal immigration and securing our nations borders. At least states are doing some of the job for the federal government now like my home state of Georgia. Our new illegal immigration law that was passed last year as the toughest piece of anti-illegal legislation in the country goes into effect next month. With this, companies that employee illegals will really be held accountable and anyone applying for tax payer funded welfare benefits will have to prove citizenship. The first step in yanking out the welcome mat from these people. The less welcome we make them feel, the better chance they take their selves back home.

You want comprehensive immigration reform. Here it is summed up. Shut down the borders then yank out the welcome mat for all illegal aliens which will force them to go back home when they can’t get anything here.
