Obama Now Open to Possible Prosecution of Bush Adminstrations Officials

So now we have the left pushing for possible probing and prosecution of Bush Administration lawyers and officials of interrogation methods against the enemies of this country including the plotters of the September 11 attacks. President Obama left the door open statements he made today concerning the issue. He did brush off responsibility though saying that it would be up to the Attorney General to decide on the best course. He stated that he thinks that this could be politicized if they proceeded. What else could it be? Let me break down simply.

This country was attacked on September 11, 2001 when Islamic Terrorists, yes Obama, I said Islamic Terrorists, hijacked 4 commercial airliners and slamming 3 of them into the various targets. We know what happened, so I am not going to go into details. This attack exposed serious holes in our intelligence community. Following that time, President Bush and his administration worked to beef up our intelligence community.

Following that time, we were at war and we are still at war. These goones declared war on this country long ago and we finally took the fight back to them. At the same time our enemies were continuing to plot future attacks against us and our allies. As we were catching these animals we had to do what was necessary to find out about future plans and prevent any new attacks from happening.

With our military and intelligence doing there best protect this country by getting information out of these people, we have the left with a big push from moveon.org trying to now get special prosecutors assigned and investigations started against President Bush and his administration. This is absolutely unprecedented and a pathetic thing to watch. We are in the middle of a war that we did not start and new administration is looking to politicize the war once more by going after the Administration that did nearly everything they could to keep us from getting hit again.

It is the President’s responsibility to do what is necessary to protect and defend the people of this nation. President Bush and his administration did what was necessary and this country was not attacked again since 9/11. It was attempted again, remember the Fort Dix Six, but the right intelligence and doing what was necessary to save American lives is what our former President understood. Our enemies do ten times worse when they capture our people, so don’t expect me to feel bad because some Islamic radical had water poured over his face.

Former VP Dick Cheney has called for all of the CIA documents on these interrogations to be released so that the American people can see just what kind of information was attained from the interrogations and how close we came to being attacked if not for getting the information from these enemy combatants. If Obama and his joke of an administration want to go through with this, then I think VP Cheney is right and the people should see the truth to see just what kind of dangers we faced since 9/11.

It’s become a political witch hunt by the left pushed by Soros and the moveon.org crowd. No matter what, they want to see President Bush punished. Doesn’t matter if he did his job to protect this country. It only matters that they can destroy his legacy.

It’s more of the same garbage people. This President is nothing but a partisan radical and I think he had plans from the beginning to push for this at some point even though he is pushing the plan to the Attorney General, Eric Holder. He wants to portray himself as some moderate who wants bipartisan unity when he has proven himself to be anything but day after day. It is all politics. I’ll probably catch hell for saying this, but even Bill Clinton looks good right about now compared to this guy. We’re just 3 months into this folks.

Enough is Enough: Time to Let Our Voices Be Heard

What else can be said about today? Just watching Fox News, it makes me proud to see the grass roots movement come out in full force today to let their voice be heard by the Washington elite. Government spending has grown rampant and out of control and enough is enough. I am sick and tired of those our federal government thinking they can just spend and spend and spend our way out of a recession that was kicked off in large part by government policies.

This is no longer an issue of republicans and democrats. President Bush spent like crazy and now Obama is multiplying that spending. He is only 3 months into his Presidency and the amount of spending he has added is unprecedented and outrageous.

It’s insane that people by this line by the President that the worse thing that government can do during a recession is lower spending. That is complete BS. Government spending is only going to make things worse. The only thing that can get this country out of this recession is to let the American people do it. The government needs to get out of wallets. They need to stop all of these enabling entitlement welfare programs and let the ingenuity and spirit of the American people take hold.

As I have mentioned before and you all have heard from other sources is that this continued spending is building a debt on our children and grandchildren that they will barely be able to keep up with if things are not changed. My children do not deserve this kind of abuse.

I am fed up, people, and you all should be as well. Our government has grown to a point of oppressiveness. We now have a President that seems to think he can control what private companies do like forcing out the GM CEO. He is working at implementing a control on the private sector that is going to spiral out of control on toward the era of socialism.

Government is out of control. They have completely ignored the Constitution and grown out of control. What about the 10th Amendment. This amendment specifically states that “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” The Federal Government has grown way beyond its constitutionally mandated size and it’s not going to stop unless we, the people of this great nation, do something about it.

If you can, get out to a Tea Party today. Let your voice be heard in Washington. If you cannot make it out, keep getting your voice out there. Let your reps in Washington know that we are fed up and angry.

The government is not listening yet. The White House is not even acknowledging the TEA Parties. To them this is just a bunch if Right Wing Conservative nuts. Like I said, this has grown way beyond that. This is about the future of this nation and about a political class, Republican and Democrat alike, in Washington that seems to think they can do what they want, spend what they want, and take what they want from you. They want more people.

Washington better wake up. This is just the beginning folks. If we do not continue to stand up and fight back against the out of control federal government it will just get worse. It has been building for years and we have reached a breaking point.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. WE ARE TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY (TEA). The Constitution, the foundation of our Republic, and the principles of our founding fathers are in danger and we need to do something about it.

LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD!!!!!!!!

Fight for our Future and Conservative Values

I’ve been reflecting for many days now on the current state of our great republic and where we stand. We have a President that with the help of Congress has put together the largest set of spending packages in our nation’s history and is working at building a debt on the next generation that they will be responsible for. We have a President that has spent used his time to constantly talk down this country how dire things are. He has used the words crisis and catastrophe more times than I can count. Everything that was done by past Presidents to bring about prosperity in this country he is doing the exact opposite of. He is working tirelessly to bring down this economy to a point that he will have every excuse to implement his radical socialist agenda including government control of our bank system and healthcare system.

We are on the verge of seeing a Trillion plus dollar tax increase on those in this country that Obama deems to be “Rich” or “Wealthy.” What does this mean for me or you? That means our taxes will go up as well. It will be indirect, but our taxes will increase as businesses will begin to pass the tax burden on to their consumers and the cost of items we purchase will increase. There is so much this President is trying to do so fast that our country just cannot take it. People are getting fed up and it is time to do something about it before things really get out of hand.

Government spending has been rampant of the years, but I have never seen anything like this and it has gone entirely too far. This President is using his class warfare tactics to help garner support for his spending initiatives. You’ve see the people on TV at his town hall meetings, who are just giddy over him and are begging Obama to save them. Get them in college, buy them a house, or any of a number of other things. We have an entitlement mentality that is growing out of control in this country and Obama is just feeding that with promises of college tuition, tax cuts to those that don’t pay taxes, and government provided healthcare that he is ready to fight for.

The sad part is, no matter what, these same people are going to be continually begging for more as time go on. I think Rush Limbaugh talked about this well at CPAC over the weekend. The democrats have been promising so much to the poor in this country for so long. Those that live on welfare and get through life wanting someone else to take care of them. The dems will through out some scraps here and there, but it is never enough. Those same people that were begging before are still begging today and will continue to beg into the future. The democrats feed that mentality by just given them handouts rather than encouraging them to get on their own feet and live free and be responsible. With the type of government Obama is implementing this is only going to get worse. He has is playing with peoples minds telling people it is just wrong of corporate executives to private jets or spend on parties other business events. He is festering a culture of wealth envy. Private businesses can’t use private jets, but it is okay for Nancy Pelosi to waste tax dollars and do so when no other house speaker has done so. I could go on and on this, but it is just getting ridiculous to watch.

Then we have Conservatives such as me and I believe a majority of Americans. We saw republicans get kicked in the teeth in November for one reason and one reason alone. They forgot who they were. They forgot their principles and fed on the power their offices gave them. They essentially became a watered down version of the democrat party.

Like many others, I do not identify myself as republican although I primarily vote for republicans. I am a true conservative molded in the model of the Great Communicator Ronald Reagan. I believe in our Constitution, the foundation of our republic and in the principles and ideals of our founding fathers. I am a capitalist and believe in freedom. I love my God and I love this country and always will. I do believe that the country has lost its way in some sense but I do not believe it is all lost as some will try and tell you. I believe we can bring this country to the greatness that it can be.

How do we do this some you might ask? There are a few things that can be done. First and foremost, it is a matter of getting the right message out and getting the right people elected into office. Not some elitist politician, but we need strong conservative blood in there. People that will stand up strong to the policies that this administration is putting forth that will do nothing to help this country move forward. We need the right people elected that will do what it takes to get government out of lives and let us live and let us keep the money that we work hard for and not seize it and give it to someone that did not work for and earn it.

I’ve heard the same thing from people, “You just want Obama to fail.” In short, hell yes I do. I want his socialist agenda to fail because that is not the way to move this country forward, that is not freedom, and IT IS NOT CONSTITUTIONAL. We do not need to become a country of cattle that purely depends on government. The federal government in this country has grown way beyond its constitutionally mandated size. They have seized more power than they should have and are looking to gain more through their spending and entitlement programs.

Now it’s time to get conservatives re-energized and back to the polls to vote their principles and vote for our constitution. It is time for the right people to step into the leadership roles of the conservative movement and get us back on track. It’s not time to just look for the next Ronald Reagan. It is time to get the right group of people elected first and out of that will emerge a voice of leadership. It is NOT time to re-define conservatism. Conservatism cannot be re-defined. It is what it is. It is a matter getting this country and its leadership back to its conservative roots.

We cannot be afraid to standup and speak about Obama and his administration. Who gives a damn if anyone is offended by you speaking out against Obama? There is nothing wrong with calling him out where he is wrong and so far he has been wrong most of the time. That is the beauty of this country; we have the right to speak out against our government when they are headed in the wrong direction. We must get back to our conservative roots and get the people elected that will promote our conservative roots and get this movement energized again. We must not try to cater to one group or another group like the dems do and republicans have done in the past. We must get a message out that appeals to all Americans. That message should that government will get out of your lives and your pockets. That you will be allowed to live free and are free to rise and fall on your merits. It is not the governments place to do this for you.

Obama is spending us deeper into recession and working to tax us deeper into recession. He is also playing politics and gambling with our national security trying to get Russia to deal with Iran for us by agreeing to disband our missile defense systems. There is so much that is being done by this administration and he is overreaching his limits. He’s appointed a joke of a cabinet including a tax cheat. He has not allowed the transparency he claimed would there. Example being the sudden passing of the Trillion dollar government growth bill a couple of weeks ago. We were not given the opportunity to read it just as Congress was not given that chance.

I know some of you may think that I just say some of the same things over and over, but I don’t want people to forget. We still live in the greatest country that God has given man. We are still a beacon of freedom and hope to so many in the world. We have helped to secure freedom around the world for millions of people. People still strive to come to America to live out the American dream. I want that to continue being the case for centuries to come if we can help it. I also want the people that are already here to be able live their lives freely. We have a great opportunity here. We can either stand by watch our nation sink further into a socialist/Marxist society, or we can fight for our republic, for our constitution, for our freedom. People are beginning to revolt already and we need to continue to so and the best way is through the ballot box beginning on November 2, 2010 and then on November 6, 2012. It is time to get involved and do something to safeguard the future of this great republic.

Capitalism or Socialism - You Decide

I’ve had a lot going through my mind over the last 15-16 hours since Obama’s press conference last night. I’ve had so much to say on it, but just not sure where to start. First let me say, what a joke. The President of the United States has 3 weeks into his presidency has now told a bold faced lie directly to the American people. I’m not going to dance around it. He is a liar. What was the lie some you may ask? He sat there on prime time national television and said that there were NO EARMARKS in this so called stimulus bill that is about to be passed by the Senate.

This bill is filled to the brim with earmarks, pork, or whatever you want to call it. What do you call $1.5 billion for homeless prevention activities, $200 million for government facility modernization, or $100 Million for National School Lunch program? These are pork projects or earmarks and the list goes on and on. The dems are trying to change the definition of earmarks by saying that everything in this bill is for stimulus.   I'm sorry, but there is hardly a thing in this bill that will stimulate this economy in any way. It may create some jobs temporary jobs, but nothing permanent.

Last night, Obama continued his press to scare the hell out of every American by telling us we are headed for a disaster if we do not act now. He already said last week that the time for talk is over. He is doing everything possible to stop the debate of this bill and just shove down the throats of the American people whether we like it or not. Public support for this bill has been plummeting has people have begun to find out more and more just what is in this bill. It is nothing but a Trillion dollar government growth bill that will only grow our government more and build our national debt to the point where they will raise or taxes just to cover that cost.

It is amazing. I’ve never heard a President, the leader of the free “for now” world, stand up and try to scare Americans to death. Reagan came into office with the economy in worse shape than it is now despite what Obama tells you. He did not stand there and tell us that we are headed for disaster. He stood there and spoke of the hope of how great this country would be and how we would get there. He did not say, do what I say to do or else we’re headed for disaster. I find it absolutely absurd that we have a president that speaks to the American people this way.

This guy wants to talk about bi-partisanship and reaching across the isle and so on. He does nothing of the kind. He talks that game to the cameras, but he and the democrats have done everything possible to keep the republicans out of the debate because they know the more they are allowed into debate, the more it exposes what the democrats are really doing and that is massively growing the size and scope of the government through spending. It sad now that we have 3 republicans that are now voting for this bill out of political expediency. They are trying to save their re-elections in their home states, but I think they will see a political backlash for it as will everyone else who pushed this bill.

You know, from day one, I held on to some little bit of hope that maybe, the President would do the right thing for this country. He would want to see all avenues of possible recovery. Now I truly see that he has had an agenda from day one. His chief of staff said we should not let a good crisis go to waste and they’re certainly holding true to that. He is seizing the opportunity to push forward his agenda. To make you and me more dependent on government than ever before. He is going to tax the daylights out of us as the spending of this bill truly takes effect over the next couple of years. He said last night that only government can get us out of this crisis and only government has the resources to jolt the economy. That right there shows that he is a man that truly believes that government is the answer to any and everything in this country.

Folks we are starting to see the death of Capitalism emerge in this country. With the passing of this bill, we are going to take another giant step toward European style socialism. We are going to see the private sector, the businesses of this country decline. We are going to start seeing rising unemployment as businesses will have to cut staff to meet the cost of their soon to be rising taxes. This is exactly what happened with Carter, Johnson, and FDR. They all wanted to spend and spend and grow government and they did not stimulate the economy one bit. Socialism fails wherever it is tried here and over seas. Look at the British government. They are on the verge of bankruptcy because of their socialist policies.

I pray that for the sake of our children and grandchildren that the people of this country wake up to what is going on today. We are having the wool pulled over our eyes people. I want this country to succeed and government is not our solution. Obama is dead wrong in this fact. You unleash our private sector and you will see growth like you would not believe. It happened under Reagan, Kennedy, and yes even under Bush. You lower those tax rates and you will see that the private sector will never let any of us down.

Government has been a part of the problem from day one. It is government regulation and interference that helped kick off the recession we are in now. Government needs to get out of the way and let the American people and the private sector do what they do best. I believe this can still happen, but we have to act and keep things from getting worse than it will when this bill passes today.

Obama Wasting No Time to Implement Radical Agenda

I definitely shouldn’t say I’m surprised. Here we are only two full days into this new presidency and we are seeing the nothing but a left wing radical agenda get implemented. Obama is working hard at keeping his promises to the left wing fringes of his party with the Executive order to close Gitmo. He is working at re-writing US policy on the war on terror and doing what he can to reverse the polices President Bush had in place on the war.

The change that Obama promised is coming and it is coming fast. First Obama is working hard at weakening our nation and showing our weakness to the world. He wants to close down Gitmo and stop “enhanced interrogation” of our enemies at a time when our enemies are foaming at the mouth to the hit this country again. The enemy is starting to see a soft spot and it will be a matter of time before they strike again as they see Obama work his hardest to appease and negotiate with our enemies and try diplomacy that has proven to not work at all with these people.

I hate to say it folks, but get ready. Our enemy does not give a damn about our diplomacy or the fact that we have a new President that appears to be the savior of the world or anything along those lines. These people still hate Americans and continue plotting and when the time is right, they will strike. They could not with President Bush in office, because he did what was necessary and gave our military and intelligence community the power it needed to do what was necessary to protect this country from attack. God only knows how many covert operations went on that prevented attacks from occurring using the information obtained through interrogation of these enemy prisoners.

I hope I am wrong on this one, but it now seems that Obama is going allow these prisoners at Gitmo that were detained on the battle field to be tried in civilian type courts where they will receive the same Constitutional due process given to Americans in our court systems. These animals deserve nothing of the kind. They are the enemy. This is something that has never been done in history in this country. You don't throw enemy combatants into our criminal court system. We will never be able to obtain the type of intelligence from these people that we would have before. We are going to be in world of hurt.

Obama has also put in charge of the CIA and intelligence community someone that has no experience in matters of intelligence what so ever with Leon Panetta. How the hell do you put someone in charge of the CIA that has no experience in such matters? It is an absolute joke, and one that is going to put our nation at risk.

Now what else is this guy doing as President. It seems that he is going to reverse any Executive Orders Bush had signed to allow for expansion of oil exploration. We saw oil prices plummet after a peak last year. The downfall began following the President Bush announcing we would expand oil exploration, though no body wants to give him credit for it. We are going to see oil and gas prices rise and Obama is going to tie the hands of the oil companies again and will probably impose the profit tax he talked about before on oil companies which will cause prices to go up even more.

Now we move to the economy. We are on the verge of becoming socialist Europe here in this country. As Dick Morris said on 1/20 in The Hill 2009-2010 will rank among the years that permanently changed government in that we will make the move from a capitalist free market society to a socialist society with a government dominated economy and expands its reach across with a wide variety of new entitlements.

Obama’s tax and spend policies are going to expand the reach of government so much in this country. He will move more and more people from the tax roles through welfare payments in the form of “tax credits.” He may lower tax rates for people who make below $250,000 in the beginning. As we go over the next two years however and especially closer to the 2012 election, when he has the majority of people loving there welfare entitlements and in an effort to buy 2012 votes, he will impose a huge tax increase on people he thinks make enough. I am betting it will be on those making over $60,000-$70,000/year. He won’t need those votes anymore, so what does he care.

Folks, it is just the beginning. We are going to see some major changes in this government. I pray we don’t get to the point of nation healthcare and the like, but the people of this country have turned into worshipping leaches. The want more and more and Obama keeps promising more and more to them.

The Conservative movement has to do a serious wake-up call. It is time to oust the elitist pansy republican that spend every day trying to reach across the isle and appease the left in what they do. The liberals care nothing for reaching across the isle. Pelosi is doing everything she can to shut the republicans out of the debate in Congress. Obama is going to be the same way. He talks bi-partisan, but he is nothing of the sort. He is hell bent on power and government expansion.

Conservatives need to fight back. We need to take back Congress and work to take back the Whitehouse and get this country back on track. People say they want to see Obama be successful. Sorry, but I don’t. If he is going to do as he says and continue the expansion of this government I want him to fail. When it comes to defending this country, I pray he can keep this country safe and makes the right decisions, but when it comes to his domestic policies, believe me I want him to fail miserably.

Our founding fathers, Lincoln, and Regan, are rolling over in their graves right now. Obama is working at turning us into a socialist society. It hasn’t worked anywhere else. Russia, China, FDRs New Deal, Johnson’s Great Society. They all failed. Socialism does not work.

We need to back people. Our Republic, our children’s future, and our Constitution are at stake. Before our voices get silenced by Obama and his machine we need to fight back because this is going to leave us crippled if we don’t.

This Nation Needs a Wake Up Call

I have been fairly silent as of late with my blogs. A lot of it is due to frustration and just not sure what the hell else to say. This is going to be a nice long awaited vent folks, so sit back and enjoy. I will be discussing everything from gas prices and energy independence, the election process, the economy, and the war. I’ve got so much built of frustration that it is time to let loose.

Gas prices and energy dependence and economy

As we all have seen in the past couple of months are gas prices have not just risen, they have sky rocketed. The entire country is pushing near $4.00 per gallon for unleaded gasoline. In addition, we have had to deal with other rising costs on certain goods as companies are having to pay more for transporting goods around the country. I’ve heard so much blame put on the President and “Big Oil.” The only ones that can share the blame for this looming problem that has now blown up in our faces is the environmentalist whack jobs and the liberal left that has continued to cater them.

They have repeatedly stood in the way of drilling and oil exploration. They have blocked us from drilling in ANWR in an area that was designated for that specific purpose. An area that is looks like a frozen over empty-Mart parking lot.  There’s nothing there. Secondly we have technology in place that enables to drill with out leaving a massive impact on the landscape. We also have issues with Florida. There is said to be a potentially great supply of oil and natural gas off the coast of Florida, but because of “tourism” Florida is worried about having drilling visible over the horizon from the coastline. Lastly is the oil shale out west. There is said to be so a large quantity of oil shale in the western US that is actually greater than the oil supply in the Middle East. Why the hell do we not go after it?

We have ready supplies of oil in this country that we just need to get to. We certainly need to find better fuel alternatives for the future, but until that is done, we need to go after the supply we have. OPEC and the towel heads of the Middle East have us by the balls right now because we are so damn dependant on their oil. We go after our own oil, they lose our money, they lose our money, they are forced to drop their prices and boost production to compete.

We also need to build our refining capacity and build more nuclear power plants in this country. There is so much that we can do and really fast to help with the rising cost, we just have to push these people out of our way and do. It would be nice if President Bush used Executive authority to get them out of the way. Not sure if that is within his abilities, but it would be nice. All of this focus on false climate change and ethanol production is a joke. Something has to be done and quickly. We need government to get out of the way so we can remedy this problem. We need leadership that will just say screw you and not pander to these anti-capitalist environmentalists.

Many have said with our rising oil prices and sub-prime mortgage issues that we have neared or entered a recession. I don’t know whose dictionary they have but we have not entered into at least two consecutive quarters of economic decline. In fact our economy is still and continues to grow. Growth has slowed down some but we have not had negative growth at all. The Sub-prime issue was government made. Their may have been an increase in foreclosures, but that is due to peoples own stupidity and buying more house they could afford or no re-financing their ARMs before their rates adjusted and raised their payments to what they could not afford. I’m sorry that some lost their homes. You hate to see that, but these people should have been more educated and stuck with what they could afford. Those that can afford to buy homes are still doing just that. We are not nor are we near a recession. Anyone that says we are is either pushing an agenda or is just plain stupid.

Election and war

This election process is been really interesting. We have seen the dems, Shrillary and Obama going at for a while now with neither sealing up the nomination. It looks like Obama is going to take though. We all know how scary it would be for either one to get in the white house, especially with the possibility of the Dems gaining Congressional seats as the GOP in Congress has lost complete touch with their base overall. I pushed my support behind John McCain. My thought is that Conservatives need to unite to defeat the threat of a Socialist gaining the White House.

The one reason that I continue to support John McCain at this point is because of the war. We are at war and he is the only candidate understands the threat we face with this enemy of Islamic Fascism. An enemy that has no country or borders. I do hope that he will keep his promise on taxes and make the Bush cuts permanent despite voting against it. I would also hope that maybe we can get him to look at the Fair Tax but who knows.

I would through my support to Bob Bar, who is now running for the libertarian nomination. I have many libertarian beliefs but the one reason I cannot still is because the many libertarians, the Paulistas, and Bob Bar have an isolationist attitude and will not stand and fight the threat our enemy faces. Many of them have said that they supported going into Afghanistan because of 9/11 and that was where Al Qaeda reside, but they do not support our Iraq efforts. They don’t understand that the enemy we face is not just Al Qaeda and the Taliban, but rather and ideology that is held by many rouge dictators, Saddam was one of those. The Iranian and Syrian dictatorships are other areas that need to be dealt with. This is an ideology (Radical Islamic Fascism) that resonates through many in this region. It is a belief of hate and radical religious beliefs that glorifies the death of innocents. This enemy has no borders and we must continue to pursue them otherwise, and they have stated this, we will find them at our door again as we did nearly 7 years ago. Don’t forget this enemy declared war on us long before 9/11. That was just our wake-up call to reality.

Speaking of the war, we had this little fiasco yesterday where President Bush was speaking in Israel and mentioned the dangers of negotiating with terrorists or radicals. He said the following:

“Some seem to believe we should negotiate with terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along. We have heard this foolish delusion before. As Nazi tanks crossed into Poland in 1939, an American senator declared: “Lord, if only I could have talked to Hitler, all of this might have been avoided.” We have an obligation to call this what it is – the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history.”

As we all saw for some reason, Barrack Obama got his thong in a bunch and said that this was direct political attack against him. President Bush never mentioned any names. He was speaking to an audience who knows first hand the results of terrorist negotiations and he was exactly right. We do know that Obama expressed a desire to negotiate with dictators such as those in Iran and North Korea. Negotiating means pandering and appeasing. That’s what Obama wants to do. He has been fully exposed on that again with his melt down.

Conservatives

As I mentioned I still, though with some reluctance keep my support with John McCain, primarily because of the war. However, the republican leadership and those in Washington have lost complete touch with their base in this country. House Minority Leader John A. Boehner and other house republicans are trying to come up with an agenda that they can present to Americans to gain back support. It almost seems too little, too late, but we’ll see what they come up with.

Republicans already lost touch with their base after they completely scrapped the Contract with America. The Contract energized the republican base as it gave us something we could finally believe in and with that cam the voter revolution of 1994. Dems still can figure out what happened that year. Since then saw former Speaker Newt Gingrich, the author of the contract, demonized by the left and the media and eventually driven out of Congress. Once that happened, the GOP simply dumped the contract and became too used to having power. It took twelve years, but voters sent them a message in 2006 when they lost the majority again. I had hoped by this year we would have seen a great resurgence in the conservative movement, but all I see are a bunch of pansy republicans who continue to pander to the left and do not have the guts to stand up and push the conservative agenda and Contract with America again.

Hell I sure would like to get into Congress and create a firestorm. I would sure like to get under the skin of some liberal socialists up there. Someone needs to stand up and fight these people and gain back control before we see the socialist agenda pushed forward even more. I fear a socialist president and a socialist congress in control in Washington. That is a very frightening Concept. Maybe it’s time to retreat to Galt’s Gulch. We’ll see what happens in the coming months, but right now republicans do not leave much to hope for. If Libertarians would open their eyes and stand up to the threats against our country then that is where I would be.

Election Update

New York Times begins biased attacks

The New York Times has done it again. They have shown themselves as the true liberal biased media outlet that they are. We have now been treated with a story that first surfaced in 2000 with allegations of an affair between Senator McCain and a lobbyist named Vicki Iseman. Of course their article as before could not site specific sources and offered absolutely no evidence to support the allegations that surfaced from a “former staffer.” It’s absolutely quite amazing. It’s fairly obvious that John McCain is going to secure the nomination of the Republican Party. No sooner than he has chalked up two more wins in Wisconsin and Washington, the New York Times comes out with this piece.

The New York Times has proven themselves to be absolute joke in the world of politics. They have run article after article showing there liberal bias and as soon as it seems the Republicans have secured a nominee for President they begin their attempts to kill their campaign momentum with articles like this. You will never see articles like surface against the Hildabeast or Obama especially after their nomination is secure. As Neal Boortz has been saying today, where is the times story on Huma Abedin the relationship between her and Hillary. Where is the article talking about Obama’s fixation with known Marxists in the past. It just won’t be seen the main stream. Enough about this. It is just a joke what they have come to but is to be expected.

I still believe in Huckabee but we have to prepare for the next battle

On a lighter note as well know, unless we see a miracle with Mike Huckabee, it seems that John McCain will be the party nominee for President. Now I have been a strong Huckabee supporter and I still think he would make a better President for our country and would put us that much closer to the passing of the FairTax. It would be great to see Huckabee become the VP nominee though.

As we all know, McCain is not the Reagan conservative that many of us had hoped for. He has done many things in the past that have been more liberal. Voting against President Bush’s Tax Cuts, McCain/Feingold (campaign finance reform) and the Amnesty bill. He is a principled man, I’ll give him that much. When he believes in something he has the courage to stand his ground on it. One major positive is the War again Radical Islam. He is a man that understands we faced by Islamo Fascism and will do what is necessary I believe to remain on offense and defend our nation from this threat.

The one piece of advice I’d give McCain is choosing his running mate for Vice President. He needs to be sure and choose someone that embodies the principles of true Reagan Conservatives. Mike Huckabee is a prime candidate for this as is Mitt Romney potentially. Doing so will help him with drawing out the republican base who may out of frustration possibly want to sit on their hands in this election. He needs a VP candidate that can appeal to those people and get them to the poles. Many believe that McCain can be persuaded toward the FairTax and with Huckabee in as the VP candidate that would be even more possible. He has the likeability and principles about him that McCain sorely needs to have a chance.

This party has to start prepping for a months long battle against whomever the Democratic candidate is. With the implosion of the Hillary campaign, it seems that Barrack Obama will be their nominee, although that’s not set in stone yet. Hillary would be easier to defeat I believe. She has so much corrupt history that could be brought out from Whitewater to the Rose Law Firm books to making a career out of destroying women that came contact with Bill. Obama has a lot to go after to, from experience to his fixation with Marxists, and his major socialist agenda including increased taxes to increase our Nation’s foreign aid. He has his rock star power working for him, so that will be the difficult thing to get through. They both are each wishing to declare surrender in the war and pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan. They will weaken our national defense and make us again more vulnerable to attack.

The Republicans need to be ready and need to expose both candidates for who they really are. We know very well that the dems, particularly the Clinton’s, will do what is necessary to destroy the Republican candidate. They have to be ready for it and needs to do what they need to in order to expose the democratic candidate. It’s going to be an interesting road this year.

Iran and Progress on the War

Iran

I was kicked into writing this again this morning after reading an article from the New York Times this morning that reports the use of Road Side Bombs in Iraq were supplied by non-other than Iran. If you recall, I have talked about this many times before. Iran is already waging a proxy war against the United States. They have been as long as we have been battling the insurgents in Iraq following the fall of Baghdad and the Saddam regime. Iran and Syria have been fueling the battle going on in Iraq through supplying arms and many of the combatants have come from these countries as has been reported many times over the years, but largely ignored.

I’ve asked this question many times. Iran is a major problem. The report from the New York Times said that 99 road side attacks in Iraq in the last month are a resulta of these bombs were supplied by Iran. Iran cannot be ignored folks. They are going to continue waging this war against us and at some point we are going to have to deal with them and harshly. We know the kind of threats their wacked out president has made over the years with their nuclear ambitions. His threats are largely overlooked by many, similar to the way Hitler was ignored until it was too late. They need to be dealt with and soon.

The Iraq Surge is Working

There have been numerous reports over the last month about the progress of the troop surge in Iraq. This has got the liberals’ panties all in bunch, but it is great to see these kinds of reports coming out. The Iraqi forces fighting along with our troops have really stepped it up against the enemy and have them on the run in many areas. In the Al Anbar(sp) Province the Marines have been kicking butt up there and we even have more Iraqis up there stepping up against Al Qaeda, who has been a major player in that region. In addition, there have been reports that support for the war, the surge, and our president has increased again in this country as people see that it is working.

The liberals in this country are up in arms over these reports and along with another report from the New York Times about a visit by some democrats to Iraq. This democratic congressman came back and reported that there have been some vast improvements in Iraq. This of course sent the liberals into panic mode. We even had a Congressman (forget which one) say that reports like this are not good for the democratic agenda. Once again, this exposes the fact that any good news coming out of the war is bad for the anti-American democrats/socialists. Too them failure in the war is positive for them and they push for defeat every chance they get. These liberals are an absolute disgrace to this country.

The fact is, that while there have been some mistakes in the way the war may have been managed, we are fighting and winning this war, no matter what traitors like Harry Reid say. This war is vital to our National Security and the prevention of Iraq becoming another terrorist/Islamic Fascist state. If we pull out, the consequences will be big. We have to continue the fight as long as it takes to keep the enemy on the run and hopefully keep them from bringing the fight back here to our soil.

Keep it up guys. Keep kicking butt out there. We are behind you back home.!!!

The Continued fight against Amnesty and Illegal Immigration

Over the past few weeks, I have not said too much on here with regards to the Amnesty bill being pushed by our President and Congress. I’ve been quite vocal about it away from my bloggs with people I talk to and the letters and emails I’ve sent to my Senators and Congressman. I am quite disgusted with the fact that the political elite in Washington just seem to think they can pass any kind of legislation they want and the American people won’t do a thing a about it. It was quite proud a few weeks back when the huge grassroots uproar basically killed their first attempt to pass the sickening piece of legislation.

I don’t understand just what is going through the minds of the President and Congress when it comes to this issue. There is a large Mexican invasion going on, pushed by the corrupt Mexican government. These people are coming across our border daily no body is there to stop them. Our government for some reason is so afraid of offending Mexico, that these illegal criminal aliens are given the same tax payer funded welfare benefits that are provided to any other American citizen. Welfare is a whole other issue for me to get into, but when have people that have broken our laws to come here, why in the hell should my tax dollars give those people a damn thing. I don’t give a damn how hard working any of these people are. They break our laws and they don’t deserve anything from here.

Now with this Amnesty bill, these millions of criminals will be eligible to gain legal status and remain here in this country. That is a complete slap in the face to millions of people that have immigrated to this country legally in search of the American dream. These are people that sat on waiting lists and did what was required in order to get here legally and attain citizenship. Oh and another thing, those people also took the time to learn ENGLISH. Immigrants are a big part of this country. Without it, I would not be here annoying you all with my opinions. As far as illegals are concerned, they don’t deserve to be here and we sure as hell don’t want them here.

Another vital thing this bill fails to do is to seal up our borders. There is a continuous flood of illegal aliens coming across our border and the first thing that needs to be done is stop the flood of continuing. Our federal government needs to do their job and shut down our border with Mexico. They need to beef up border patrol big time and Border States need to help out with their National Guard Forces. I’ve heard arguments of that being like the Berlin Wall. Sorry, but that is completely different. In Berlin, we had Communists sealing off a portion of city within a country. Here we are trying to protect our sovereignty and secure our nation.

We are in the midst of a Global War on Islamic Fascism. Once again, I don’t understand why the President is trying so hard to appease the Mexican government here. He has done a great with pursing our enemy, but one area he just seems to not think is vital is our own border security and I don’t get it. We saw the threat that illegal aliens can pose with the planned assault on Fort Dix. Despite that, our President just does not seem to get it when it comes to our border security and it is getting really frustrating. I hope his successor (Hopefully Newt Gingrich or Fred Thompson) will do what he as failed to do and secure our borders.

I don’t know what else to say here. Our government has failed us big time when it comes to illegal immigration and securing our nations borders. At least states are doing some of the job for the federal government now like my home state of Georgia. Our new illegal immigration law that was passed last year as the toughest piece of anti-illegal legislation in the country goes into effect next month. With this, companies that employee illegals will really be held accountable and anyone applying for tax payer funded welfare benefits will have to prove citizenship. The first step in yanking out the welcome mat from these people. The less welcome we make them feel, the better chance they take their selves back home.

You want comprehensive immigration reform. Here it is summed up. Shut down the borders then yank out the welcome mat for all illegal aliens which will force them to go back home when they can’t get anything here.

House Passes bill to set Timeline, President to Veto Thankfully!

Today the cut, run, and surrender Socialist Democrats in the House managed to push through a $121 Billion appropriations bill that was in large part to supply emergency funding to the war effort. However, also attached to the bill was the condition that the US pull out of Iraq by the fall of 2008. They are essentially setting a surrender date. Also attached to this bill were loads of pork spending funding, that essentially was bribe money to coax hold outs to vote for the measure and apply a timeline for US withdrawal.

The bill, as President Bush initially said was to provide emergency funding for our forces in Iraq. Instead the dems decide to play political theatre and set this artificial deadline within a bill that is supposed to provide our fighting forces the necessary funding they need to conduct this war and bring us closer to victory. All the democrats are doing is attempting to cripple our commanders and fighting forces. They seem to think that if they can delay funding from being passed through that it will force President Bush to accept restrictions on our forces. The President said moments ago in a brief but fiery response, “That is not going to happen.”

Democrats have once again shown their will to undermine anything this President and our men and women in uniform do. They are playing politics with war. A war that is a continuing battle for civilization, thought most people are blind not to see it that way. It is the same story over and over. A victory for the President does not speak well for the Dems and their chances for power, so no matter if it causes us defeat and weakens our nation, they feel the need to do anything to undermine his efforts.

These are sick people that you people around this country have put into power now and their lust for political power is just swelling. Most democrats, especially the ones that voted for this measure and continue pushing items like this are an absolute, DISGRACE TO THIS COUNTRY. They are unpatriotic, you’re damn right I said, UNPATRIOTIC. Many of them are also borderline treasonous. They are doing nothing but giving aid and comfort to our enemy when they do things like this. The enemy we face sees this as a sign that American resolve is weakening.

Congressman John Murtha is one of these morons that plainly disgusting to listen to. With this bill he said,“You’re voting against supporting the troops if you’re voting against the money that goes to the troops…The Congress owes you the money you need to do the job, without any strings attached. Congress needs to get their business done quickly, get the monies we've requested funded and let our folks on the ground do the job." Can you believe this moron? This is the same SOB that has been preaching to stop funding the war over and over, and now with this measure and its hidden deadlines is trying to twist it around and say voting against it is voting against our troops. What a joke he and the rest of these dems are.

Fortunately the President will veto this measure, but the sad part is that it delays even longer the funding that our forces need to sustain operations. Sec of Defense Bob Gates has said that if funding is not appropriated by April 15, our forces and their families may start seeing serious disruptions. That seems to be exactly what the democrats want though unfortunately. You see, they said before they did not want to stop funding the troops, but running bills like this that have no chance of getting the President’s signature, they are doing just that. What’s even sadder now, is that if the funding does not come, the Democrats will turn around and say that they tried to fund the troops but the President vetoed it. It’s all political games folks and it is rather disgusting to watch.

Visit from the Enemy

Now to add to this, we have an enemy of the United States, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is coming to US soil to address the UN. Amazing that this guy, who is an Islamic Terrorist, and has spoken such harsh tones against the US and Israel, is able to come here freely to our soil. His rhetoric when addressing the UN will likely again be harsh toward the US. Like Boortz said in Nealz Nuze today, they he should be arrested and sent to Ghitmo while he’s here. Unfortunately you know that will ever happen. He will only be captured or killed when we finally face Iran on the battle field.

Socialist Democrats Continue Undermining Efforts

It seems we now have at least one of the cowardly socialist commie democrats with at least some guts to say what they truly feel in wanting to stop the war effort and halt the President’s and ground commander’s plans to send additional reinforcements in to Iraq to help in the war effort. Congressman John Murtha, who has already on numerous occasions shown the type of coward he is and how much he does not support our soldiers in battle, is proposing legislation to ultimately stop funding for additional soldiers to be sent to Iraq and additional equipment. His bill, if passed, would essentially choke off the ability to properly wage the war the way the commanders feel it needs to be done.

As far as democrats are concerned we are back to Vietnam revisited. They are once again pushing efforts that will essentially be a driving force for us to lose this war. The President and commanders will no longer have the resources they need to do what it takes to win. Although they don’t want to say it, they are essentially proposing surrender. That’s exactly what the socialist bastards want. They want us to lose this war because to them it would be a victory politically and a loss for the republicans. It is once again all about politics. The same people that saw the same intelligence and voted for action against Iraq, like the Hildabeast Hillary Clinton, are now catering to the extreme left wing of their party and showing their true sides. It was politically expedient to vote for the war in 2002 and now it’s politically expedient to push for surrender and trash our President and our troops as well.

Murtha is getting very clever with his bill as well. The bill says essentially that funding will not be granted to the reinforcements unless it is shown they are properly trained to go there and conduct this war. Okay, let’s think about this for a minute. First, he’s making an assertion that our forces are not properly trained to conduct their duties. Excuse me Murtha, but these men and women that serve this nation are the best trained and prepared fighting force in the world. What to you would constitute them having proper training? The answer is nothing. All you are doing is playing word games and to you they would never be adequately trained for this mission. You see folks, Murtha is trying to be really clever here, but looking at the bill and understanding the type of person John Murtha is you see he is just like the rest of the democrats, a fake and a coward.

There is one thing that needs to be made clear here to you people in Congress. There is but one Commander-in-Chief in this country. There are not 500+ Commanders-in-Chief. The President is charged with the defense of this nation. He recognizes the threat that Islamic Fascist pose to our nation and he is doing his Constitutional Duty in making sure this country is defended. His strategy is to stay on the offense in order to prevent our nation from being attacked again here at home. Congress does not have the authority here to say what the President does and does not do to defend they country. What they have is the power of the purse strings and can stop the funding of the Presidents efforts. These bastards need to shut-up and let the President do what needs to be done to win this war. You can’t vote to approve a new ground commander and them prevent him from doing his job there.

No matter what they try to say to the cameras. With the exception of a few like Joe Lieberman, DEMOCRATS DO NOT SUPPORT OUR TROOPS. You can’t say that you support our troops and in the very next breath undermine them and their efforts to win a war. They are free to say what they want, but we can certainly call them on it. They are spineless cowards that only conduct themselves in a manner that is politically expedient for them and hurts the President. The constantly undermine him and our fighting men and women. To me, they are an absolute disgrace to this country

Folks do not pay attention to what the socialists say. They are pathetic people. We need to stand behind our troops and our President. We are at war. Nobody wants to be at war, but war was declared on us by Islamic Fascists long ago and we have to fight them in order prevent the war from coming to our soil again. We need to support this war effort until we see through to victory. We cannot surrender because all that will do is embolden our enemy and bring them back here. Like the President said in an address to AEI yesterday, the enemy would follow us home. All efforts must be made to prevent another attack here and our President is doing what needs to be done over there to prevent just that.

Don’t play word games like the democrats. SUPPORT OUR TROOPS, SUPPORT OUR PRESIDENT, and let them do the job that WILL BRING US VICTORY. Anything less, like the democrats want, would be a disaster for the future of our nation.

Iran and the Big February 11 Announcement!

Iranian Fascist President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, has announced that February 11, this Sunday, will be the day that Iran’s nuclear rights will be established. This day will come during Iran’s “Ten Day Dawn,” which commemorates when Islamic rule was established in Iran in 1979, thanks in part to the non-other than Jimmy Carter. Wow, the excitement of such a big day coming. I know I certainly can’t wait to see this coming announcement and how that announcement is going to come. This information came from and article I found through the Drudge Report linking to Ynetnews.com.

Here we go again with this maniac. The continued song and dance of listening to this guy spout off his threats including the continued pursuit of nuclear technology and this country continues to sit on its hands and not do a thing about them. How much longer are we going to sit around and let Iran continue down the path they’re following? Remember, again, this is the country and president that has called for the complete destruction of Israel and US. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said that Israel will be wiped off the map. He is pursuing another holocaust people and if we see nuclear bombs going off in Israel that’s exactly what we have.

We have so many people that continue to play off this guys threats. It seems people just don’t understand this threat and the fact that he will probably follow through with this threats. He is just like Adolph Hitler. A man who continually made threats which the people of the world did not take serious until he actually carried through what he said he would do. We will, whether it begins this Sunday or later, sometime in the near future have to face the fact that this animal is not kidding around. His threats are very real. The only time it seems people will actually take it seriously is when they see that Iran has infact detonated and nuclear bomb in Israel or even here in the US.

Unfortunately we have a media that will not focus on this issue and all they care to do is ask the President if he plans to invade Iran, without showing the American people what reasoning there is to ask such as question. The mainstream media does not focus on this building story and because of that many people do not see what kind of threat Iran has truly become and because of that there is a major lack of will on the part of many Americans to address and deal with this threat in the way that it needs to done.

Talking is out the window with these people. They will not stop their nuclear ambitions and negotiations and resolutions will not accomplish anything with them, just like they didn’t work with Iraq and Saddam Hussein. We have to take care of them and fast before we see them carrying out their threats on Israel and Gob forbid here on the streets of the United States. Regime change must now become a priority with the US for Iran as Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will continue his Fascist pursuits and propaganda. THEY ARE THE ENEMY!!!! If we don’t face that soon, we might be in serious trouble.

Why are People so Quick to Accept Defeat?

I've got to vent again today, because I am just sick and tired of hearing the surrender attitude that keeps resonating through the halls of Congress especially from the liberal socialist democrats, the media, and others in this country. It is absolutely unbelievable to me there is such little desire from people to achieve a victory in this war. They absolutely do not understand the threat that is posed by the Islamic Fascist that we are facing in and the results that would come from giving up and pulling out of Iraq.

On the news this morning driving in I heard reports that Senator Russ Feingold is looking to push a bill that will demand a pull out of our soldiers in 6 months or face a cut off of funding, this on top of the cowardly "non-binding" resolution proposed by socialist liberals in the Senate to oppose President Bush's strategy to up our forces by 21,500 in hopes of helping rid the Islamic Fascist from Iraq and speed the training of Iraqis to defend themselves. I am absolutely sickened at the thought of these resolutions. These people know what type of threat we face, but all they seem to care about is doing whatever is against President Bush. It is all partisan politics to them, damn the fact that it hurts our national security interests.

These people are a complete joke. Hearing Feingold speaking on the radio about the bill, he seems to think that this bill not hurt our soldiers. It will actually help them to stay safe. In addition, he says that our troops will still get their pay and benefits, but the funding to conduct the war will be get if it's passed. What an absolute genius! Of course the soldiers would still get their pay and benefits. There would be a huge revolt if that were to be cut. But this moron is convinced that cutting the funding will not her our troops. What about their morale you jerk? These men and women no exactly what they are their fighting for and you people coming through and trying to prevent them from doing their job will kill that morale.

The people of this country have to wake up and see what kind of people we have running Congress now. These are people that do not care about the defense of our nation when it comes at the expense of their political power. That them that is above all. WE ARE AT WAR people!!!! We are facing an enemy that wants us destroyed. If we leave them to overrun Iraq, then the consequences will be absolutely terrible. These Islamic Fascist have one goal and that is to spread their radical views throughout the world through violence and death. If we abandon Iraq to them, they will have another state to launch their attacks from along with Iran and Syria. I know it is a long war and we want it to be over, but we cannot leave until the job is complete and threat of Islamic Fascism is defeated in Iraq and throughout the world. If we quit, we will be hit again in our homeland. The enemy will still continue after us, so we have to continue after them.

Speaking of Iran, it is now time to also step up the pressure on them, they continue to pursuer nuclear weapons and at the same time their President continues to say that the US and Israel will soon be no more. They have to be stopped as well. Iraq was is a big part still, but we also have to be ready to strike Iran to prevent them from attacking us and our allies. They constantly talk of our destruction and they will carry through on those promises one day, the issue will be take the steps to prevent that or take a Clinton approach and wait until something does occur. This enemy is vicious folks. They won't surrender. The only thing they understand is death and they have to dealt with before it's too late.

President Bush Delivers the State of the Union Address

Last night we heard President Bush deliver the State of Union Address. His first in front of a democratic controlled Congress. Overall I think the President delivered a good speech. He highlighted some key domestic issues that I think will be important to this country. Unfortunately I don’t think we’ll see much of it happen with the Liberals running Congress and the partisan politics that will disrupt any real progress in the next two years. Let’s take a look at some of the domestic and foreign policy points the President addressed.

First despite what you might here from the liberals and media, the President highlighted the fact that we are “41st month of uninterrupted job growth.” He showed that our economy is running strong and that it continues to grow. A lot of that growth can be attributed to the tax cuts that he has put in place throughout his Presidency. They have been vital and giving people the incentive to invest in their businesses and their future and given companies more capital to invest in their company’s growth. He also touched on other highlights of his Presidency including the successes of the “No Child Left Behind Act.”

The President also made some proposals for our country and the way forward on the home front. First was the issue of Health Care. What I like here is that unlike Hillary and other socialists who want Socialized Universal Healthcare, President Bush wants to give more power and incentive to the people to obtain their own private insurance through a tax deduction. This would be a good thing for the people to have. The President made one great statement referring the people making their own decisions and that was, “…we must remember that the best health care decisions are made not by government and insurance companies, but by patients and their doctors.” If the democrats get their way we can look forward to the government making those decisions for us and it becoming a crime to choose your own private doctor versus the government choice for you. Experience Canada’s and Europe’s health systems and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Another issue the President discussed was the problems with illegal immigration sort of. He again proposed the temporary worker program and giving those that want to come here and work the ability to do so legally without having to sneak across the border. He also mentioned that the Border Patrol force would be doubled. In order to really secure our borders though, he really needs to look at shutting the border down and yanking out the welcome mat for all illegal aliens. Again all these people here illegally are a slap in the face to the people like my Mom who did the years of work to legally come here and become a US citizen. Amnesty is not the way. The illegals need to be shown that they are not welcome here unless they come here legally like many others do.

Finally prior to discussing the war, the President tackled on the domestic side was that of energy and our dependence on foreign oil. The President made some good suggestions about pushing the effort on increasing research and development of alternative fuel sources that could lower our gasoline dependence by 20% over the next ten years. That’s great! The more alternative cleaner fuel sources we have the better. What also needed to be addressed and wasn’t, was what do we do in the meantime. Until those uses are brought to the market and affordable we continue to depend on foreign oil and are at the will of their production and pricing. We need to go after our own oil and natural gas sources in the meantime to stop that dependence until we are to the point that alternative fuel sources are a mainstay in this nation

Lastly the President switched to foreign policy. Now I know there are issues on the domestic side where the President some additional work and in someway seems to try to appease the left rather than fight. The foreign front and the War on Islamic Fascism is once again where the President shined and really showed some courage. He did a great job outlining the broader scope of the war and the implications of what would happen if Iraq is just left to be overrun. I would have liked to see him touch more on Iran and North Korea, but overall this was a good area for him. He also could have addressed the fact that we are at war with Islamic Fascism and not terrorists. They are radical Muslims who believe God has called them to spread their will through the death and destruction of the non-believers.

What I cannot get over and just bothers me like crazy is the stark polarity we see with Congress when he makes his points on our defense and the war. The dems refused to stand when it came to the strategy going forward on the war and what the President and his commanders are trying to accomplish. They do not stand or clap when he lays out the devastating effects that would come from leaving an Iraq to the Islamic Fascists to overrun. When he discusses the need for success and victory, they don’t clap along with Republicans, but when he mentions supporting those fighting for our nation they then stand up. It gets to me because they are so phony. The liberals constantly undermine and speak falsehoods about the progress of the war and our President. How can you undermine the efforts of our men and women in uniform and claim to still support our troops. It’s very contradictory and I wish the American people would see through it.

Well now we have more ideas laid out for the future here and overseas. As I mentioned, I don’t believer much will be accomplished in Congress as the dems won’t be able to get some their socialist items through. They’re trying to hide themselves until the 2008 election. I think the President did well in addressing the nation and proposed some good ideas for the way forward, although on the domestic side there is a more that could be done to bring more freedom back to the American people and reducing the size of federal government and I wish the President would see that. He is unfortunately a big spending republican. On the foreign side and the war though, he did good job I think overall. He could have focused more on Iran and threat they and North Korea pose, but still did a good job of looking at the overall picture of the War on Islamic Fascism. Again, he also could have addressed the fact that we are at war with Islamic Fascism and not terrorist. He acknowledged the fact that we are in an ideological struggle against and evil enemy, but never called them what they truly are and that is Islamic Fascist. They are Muslims who believe in a radical ideology to kill innocents and I wish the efforts to dance around that term would stop. They are what they are.

Meaningless Resolutions and Exposing the Left For Who They Are!

Fake Resolution

We are now being treated with the democrats looking to push for a non-binding “symbolic” resolution to vote against President Bush’s plan to boost our troop levels in Iraq in hopes of pushing along progress and to get the Iraqis to step up more. Once again they are playing politics as usual with the war effort. We even have a few liberal republicans joining the band wagon here. These people are proving to everyone the kind of cowards they are. Many of the people leading the way are those that plan a presidential run in 2008. It is all a matter of politics to them whether this plan helps us with the win or not.

A vote by the Senate means absolutely nothing. It is purely an effort to undermine our President and troops once again. The President, as Commander-In-Chief is charged, via the Constitution, to defend this nation. He is the one that makes the call on when and where to send our forces and how many. Congresses power here would be to withhold funding for the war. They wouldn’t dare to do that, because they know that would be political suicide for them. The people of this country would see them for what they are. You may not agree with defeating an enemy that looks to establish a new base from which to attack us and our interests, but if you dare to try to prevent our soldiers from having the funding they need to conduct their mission then you have gone too far. Don’t get me wrong, we all know the liberals would like to do just that, but if they have any sense they won’t. In the Washington Times, White House Press Secretary chimed in on this as well by saying, “Think about what message resolutions would send…It is a question that those (who) are talking about these resolutions will have to answer to themselves and to the public.”

Once again these people just amaze me with their politics. It is always a matter of what will make President Bush look bad. The liberal media is all to eager to give these people their air time and really making sure you all know that the democrats are opposed to this idea. These liberal socialists have no plan and no agenda. It only makes since if it is politically expedient at that moment in time. They are constantly shifting with the wind.

It will never end. As long as President Bush is there they will continue to undermine him. But not only do they do that they also undermine our troops. They care nothing for their morale. Hell, many of them, and Nancy Pelosi is on record with this, don’t even recognize the fact that we are even at war. I’m really glad that the President has stepped up though and really essentially told the dems to stick it. He doesn’t need their permission no matter what they say in front of the cameras to send the forces we need to win this war.

Politics bring out need for true Conservative Leadership

Well over the next two years, we’re going to be fed this type of crap from the dems. They have begun their political posturing for 2008. All of those that are running for the White House have now chimed to oppose the President. They are trying to appease their liberal base for the Primaries. Hillary is the master at this here as she has made a big shift from acting as centrist to a liberal anti-war socialist as she is. If she gets the nomination, she’ll again move back to center.

We are in desperate need of a 1994 conservative like Newt to step up now and really point this party and our nation in the right direction. McCain and others who are more moderate are not what this nation and the republicans need. We need a leader that will knock the republicans back to reality and find their principles again. Newt Gingrich has been was smeared big time by the media and the left with numerous lies about him personally in an effort to run him out of Congress. Their lies succeeded but we still need his kind of leadership again to help energize the Conservative base again.

It is time to begin to expose the democrats for what they are. The dems have attempted to hide their true selves from the public and their going to do continue trying in hopes that the dems win the White House in 2008. They won’t be able to hide this though and they will need to be exposed. Their big government socialist agenda will come forward. They have already started with this minimum wage debacle and now with the pending “non-binding” resolution on the war. Liberals can’t help themselves and we need to expose that. This is why we need Newt Gingrich to make his run for the White House. He is the key we need to ensure we expose the democrats, bring about the 21st Century Contract with America, and ensure we have a leader that won’t hide from his constitutional duties to defend this country and will continue our fight on Islamic Fascism.
